Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Erin is a nationally registered and state certified dietitian (#DI60307901) specializing in eating disorders and sports nutrition. She received her bachelor’s degree in Community Health with a minor in Psychology from Western Washington University in 2007. As a Positive Body Image Lifestyle Advisor during her undergraduate studies, Erin identified her passion for promoting body acceptance and helping others find peace in their relationship with food and their bodies. She then received her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Bastyr University in 2011 and completed an accredited dietetic internship through California Polytechnic State University.
As a former competitive club gymnast, Erin understands the many challenges unique to the sport culture and has a strong interest in helping athletes enhance their performance and be the best they can be through adequate nourishment. She is a member of the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition practice group through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics.
Prior to joining Opal, Erin provided nutrition counseling for a physical therapy and medical wellness clinic, then worked in a residential care facility for eating disorders treatment and private practice, specializing in eating disorders, weight and body image concerns.
In her spare time she enjoys being out on the water on sunny days including wakeboarding, kayaking, sailing, and relaxing with her husband and friends and family.
