Kelly Finan, MS
Kelly specializes in sports nutrition and eating disorders. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a minor in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Washington. She recently earned a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences degree and completed a CDR-accredited dietetic internship through the University of Washington’s Graduate Coordinated Program in Dietetics. During her internship, she gained valuable experience working with collegiate athletes as the UW Sports Nutrition Department’s graduate student intern. Kelly is passionate about helping athletes to fuel for optimal performance and health and build positive relationships with food and body.
Kelly believes in evidence-based nutrition education and values staying up-to-date with nutrition research. Her approach is centered on a non-diet, Health at Every Size© framework. She is a current member of the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition practice group through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association.
Outside of work, Kelly loves to spend time outdoors doing activities like swimming, hiking, running, water skiing, snowboarding, or playing tennis. She also enjoys visiting farmers markets, trying new restaurants in Seattle, or going on other adventures with her friends and family.
