Primary + Family Therapist
Haley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#LF60450571) in the state of Washington. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University, and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Washington. Haley’s experience includes individual, family, and couples therapy in a range of settings, including residential, outpatient, and outdoor therapeutic programs. She recently returned to Seattle after living in Hawaii for several years, where she worked as a primary and family therapist for teens and young adults struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and family conflict.
Haley works from a systems-oriented perspective, believing that for healing to occur, a person must explore their internal world as well as who they are in relationship to others. One of her beliefs about therapy is that individuals are the “experts” on their own lives, and she collaborates with her clients to help them identify internal resources and claim their own preferences and values. Haley is passionate about the healing power of art, music, and writing, and she enjoys leading art therapy group for Opal’s PHP clients every week.
