Abby is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate (SC61392470) in the State of Washington. Abby has a BSN from Simmons University and an MSW from Fordham University.

Abby’s prior experience as a pediatric ICU nurse led her to appreciate the different systems her patients lived in and how these various and often unequal systems may have a profound impact on clients’ health and well being. She has been drawn to work as a therapist in order to engage more deeply with clients and to witness their growth process.

As a former athlete and competitive horseback rider, Abby draws on her personal experience with diet culture to assist clients to challenge a diet and social media obsessed world. After discovering intuitive eating and the health at every size movement in her personal life, Abby is eager to share this knowledge to help others gain freedom from eating disorders and disordered eating. She strives to create a warm, caring environment for clients so they may discover themselves and a life beyond eating disorders and disordered eating.

In her free time she loves to walk her dog who teaches her the art of resting by lying under shady trees. She also finds great joy in yoga and stretching, reads for pleasure, and has been known to get out her extensive craft supplies on very rainy days.
