Intensive Outpatient Day Program
Intensive Outpatient Hours: 3 hours/day, 3-5 days/week (Monday-Friday). Individualized schedule.
Population Served: Adults of all genders (ages 18+) with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, exercise compulsion, avoidant restrictive intake disorder, orthorexia, and other specified eating or feeding disorder.
Medical and Psychiatric Care: Medical visits as recommended. Psychiatric medication evaluation and/or monitoring as needed.
Nutrition: 1) Breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or snack meal support and 2) On-going nutrition counseling 3) Options for weekly grocery outing, culinary group and nutrition education
Psychotherapy: 1) Individual psychotherapy, 2) Couples & family therapy as appropriate and 3) Group therapy which can include Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Re-Thinking Exercise and Sport, Facing Fears, Yoga, Relational Process, and Art Therapy.
**IOP clients can receive psychotherapy and nutrition services from non-Opal providers.
