Marinah (she/her) who also goes by Rinah, was born and raised in the Seattle/ Federal way Area. She always knew her passion was to work with others but couldn’t determine which level of care. After graduating high school, she was a student at the University of Washington for 2 years before transferring to Central Washington University where she later graduated.

While at CWU she focused her studies on Law and Justice while competing collegially as a track and field runner. During her time at Central, a not only traumatic but life changing situation occurred and it pushed her to realize her calling was to work with others who have been through and experienced some type of life trauma.  

Marinah has worked in many jobs surrounding helping others in the field of Social Services and is very excited to bring her love for helping others to the Opal team. Marinah is a Race and Social Justice Advocate. Marinah is a Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor (#CG60827318).
