Kiley Bedson, LMHC

Primary Therapist + Exercise Experiential Therapist

Kiley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington (#LH60742695). Kiley received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Nutrition from Baylor University and Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University.  She has worked with teenagers, adults, and families in both a therapeutic residential setting and community mental health agency. Prior to her work as a primary therapist and exercise experiential therapist, Kiley started at Opal as a milieu therapist in 2014.  She loves working in a community of clinicians that fights against diet culture and fights for freedom with food and body.

Kiley believes that movement is our birthright and that as humans, we are innately meant to find joy in movement.  As a former athlete, Kiley enjoys working with athletes in recovery.  She approaches exercise experiential therapy with a strengths-based approach and believes that taking risks and facing fears is a powerful tool in healing one’s relationship with food and body.

While not at work, Kiley may be found baking, throwing down terrible puns, watercolor doodling or hiking with her husband and new baby daughter.
