Uses She/Her pronouns
Rose MacLeod (LMFTA) is a family therapist and milieu clinical lead at Opal. Rose became passionate about mental health care when she realized how interwoven it was with everything she did, from teaching and directing theater, to working as a preschool teacher. Rose loves to work with family systems and enjoys being in a group setting. While working with children and young adults as a family therapist at Good Samaritan Hospital, Rose was able to learn more about how eating disorders impact people from a young age. This ignited a desire to follow this path in mental health and become an eating disorder specialist. Rose believes that everyone deserves to live a life of food freedom and joyful eating. The qualities Rose brings into therapy are compassion, humor, creativity and person centered care. Rose has experience in narrative, solution focused, emotion focused, Gottman, and DBT based therapy. Rose is also gender affirming, an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, and a sex positive therapist.
