Kristin is an Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Washington (#MC61009568) and has a masters in art therapy and counseling psychology from Naropa University. She was an intern at an eating disorder treatment center in Denver where she practiced milieu therapy and individual and group art therapy. Prior to that, she served in AmeriCorps where she taught conflict resolution in schools and was also a mentor for children with behavioral concerns in the school setting. She believes that we are all on a healing path that is unique to us, and likes to witness, support, and engage the unfolding of clients’ lives through the lens of attachment, trauma, social justice, and transpersonal psychology. Outside of Opal, she enjoys walking, yoga, painting, singing out loud in public with headphones on, dancing in her kitchen, and spending time with her two daughters.
