Nikki currently holds a Washington State License as a Mental Health Counselor (MC61464274).

Nikki is a Primary and Family & Relationship Therapist at Opal. Nikki received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University after practicing as an East Asian Medical Practitioner and acupuncturist for 18 years. Nikki brings her history of somatic awareness into her counseling practice, weaving in holistic and mindfulness approaches as a way to integrate body and mind. Nikki uses her career experiences to facilitate healing from trauma and attachment wounds through Polyvagal and Attachment Theory. Additionally, Nikki brings a passion for Family and Relationship Therapy by exploring intergenerational patterns and their influences on current relationships. Nikki believes all people hold within them the potential for change and personal empowerment. She practices a client-centered approach, bringing compassion and curiosity to the therapeutic relationship. 

In her free time, Nikki can be found with her nose in a book, knitting in her hands, or taking advantage of the natural beauty of the PNW with her family and dog.
